If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.
Often credited to A. A. Milne · Passed around as Winnie the Pooh's, but it is in none of Milne's books or the Disney films; the wording first appears in a 1999 newspaper column, and the idea goes back to a 1917 verse by Tom Phillips, "May you all live forever, may I live forever less a day." Milne's nearest line is Christopher Robin's "Pooh, promise you won't forget about me, ever."
