By accessing or using https://gkbook.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About GKBook
GKBook is a general-knowledge study library for competitive examinations, published by gknxt llc for educational purposes. Its articles, tables, facts pages and practice tests are study aids. The Site is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
3. GKBook and the examination authorities
GKBook is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Union Public Service Commission, the Staff Selection Commission, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, the Railway Recruitment Boards, any state public service commission or any other examination authority. The names of examinations and their conducting bodies are the trademarks of their respective owners and appear on the Site only to describe which examinations the material serves.
Where the Site describes a syllabus, pattern or date, it reflects our reading of publicly available notifications at the time of writing. Always confirm against the official notification. Statements such as “read the article, score 100 per cent on its test” describe the design goal of GKBook’s own topic tests; they are not a promise about your result in any examination.
4. Accuracy of information
We make every reasonable effort to keep GKBook accurate, checking facts against multiple reputable sources and reviewing entries on a schedule. Errors and omissions can still occur. If you spot one, we would be grateful if you would tell us through the Contact page. Do not rely on GKBook as your sole source for any decision of consequence.
5. Membership
The GK Yearbook, the general-interest entries and every past paper on the Site are free to read. The exam-grade entries, every timed topic test, the mock tests and the members’ hub are for members. Membership costs ₹995 a year, payable in advance, and runs for one year from the day your payment is confirmed. It does not renew automatically. The enrollment steps are on the Membership page.
Membership is personal. Access is delivered as a private link that you open once on each device you use; it may be opened on any number of your own devices. You may not forward, post, publish or otherwise share the access link, or your access, with anyone who is not a member. We refresh access links from time to time; the current link is always issued to members first. Sharing your access outside your own devices is a breach of these terms and may result in the termination of your membership.

6. Permitted use of content
You are welcome to read GKBook, link to any page, and quote brief portions of its content for personal, noncommercial educational use, provided you credit GKBook and link back where reasonably practical. Search engines and answer engines, including AI assistants, may crawl, index, cache and summarize the Site’s open pages in accordance with our robots.txt, and we welcome it. The following are not permitted without our prior written consent:
- Republishing entire entries, tables or large excerpts, on any medium;
- Reselling GKBook content, or bundling it into paid courses, coaching material, books or apps;
- Copying, redistributing or reproducing any topic test, mock test or question bank, in whole or in part;
- Bulk downloading or scraping the Site in a manner that disregards robots.txt or degrades the Site for other readers;
- Circumventing, or helping others circumvent, the membership access controls.
7. Intellectual property
The GKBook name, the visual design of the Site, the editorial selection and arrangement of content, the original written text, and the questions, answers and explanations in GKBook’s tests are © 2026 gknxt llc, all rights reserved. Photographs and illustrations are licensed from third parties, created for GKBook or in the public domain; they remain the property of their respective owners. Past examination papers are reproduced for educational study, and the rights in those papers remain with the examination authorities that set them.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on GKBook infringes your copyright, please reach us through the Contact page with a description of the work you own, the address where it appears on GKBook, and your contact information. We will review and respond promptly.
8. Reader comments
Some pages carry a comments section provided by a third-party service, which operates under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing; do not post personal information about others; do not post spam, promotions or the content of any examination paper that is not yet public. By posting, you grant gknxt llc a nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and moderate your comment on the Site. We may edit or remove any comment at our discretion.
9. Your communications with us
When you fill out a form on the Site or otherwise send us feedback, you grant us a nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and respond to your message in operating and improving the Site. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive personal information.
10. Third-party links and services
GKBook links to external websites that we do not own or control, and membership is arranged through third-party payment and messaging services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, products or practices of those sites and services, which operate under their own terms. A link is not an endorsement.
11. Promotions and sponsored links
The Site carries promotional panels for GKBook’s own pages, tests and membership, and for sister sites published by gknxt llc. Where a link is an affiliate link, it is marked as sponsored, and we may earn a small commission if you click it and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. A promotion is not an endorsement of any product or service beyond our own.
12. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, to keep members signed in on each device, to measure aggregate traffic, and to run the comments service. Most browsers let you control or block cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading the Site, but it will prevent member access from working on that browser.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any examination result will follow from its use.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, gknxt llc and its officers, contributors and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any direct damages, in the aggregate, shall not exceed the greater of the membership fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and $100 (one hundred U.S. dollars).
15. Children
GKBook is written for candidates preparing for competitive examinations and for students, and it is intended to be safe for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction located there, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
